Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

Am I a County employee?
No. Citizens Council members are appointed volunteers, not County employees. Members are not compensated but are authorized to represent the CEO’s Office within the Council’s defined role.
It is always appropriate to say, “I will find out for you.” Document the question and submit it so the CEO’s Office can respond.
Remain calm, listen without interruption and document the concern. You are never required to endure threatening behavior. Disengage and contact the CEO’s Office if needed.
Use the Council contact methods provided to you. Sharing personal contact information is at your discretion and is not required by the Council.
